Access is a Mindset

We discussed how to run genuinely inclusive events without a big budget, delivered alongside Attitude is Everything, The Rix Inclusive Research Institute (UEL), Catalyst in Communities, and The Dialogue Café. Participants took part in an "Inaccessibox" exercise, where they were encouraged to observe inaccessible elements of their immediate surroundings, writing them down, putting them in a box, and randomly drawing someone else's barrier to solve. It led to an engaging conversation about the surprising nature of other people's barriers, and how to solve them with limited resrourses.
